These terms are an agreement between you and Pantree ("we", "us"). By using the Pantree app you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Pantree is a kitchen-inventory and meal-planning app: it turns receipts, barcodes, and manual entries into a picture of the food you own, estimates freshness, suggests recipes, and matches public weekly-ad deals to your items. It is an organizational tool — not a medical, nutritional, or food-safety service.
You need to be at least 13 to use Pantree, and you're responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account).
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your own household. Don't reverse-engineer the app, abuse or overload the service, scrape it, resell access to it, or use it to break the law.
Your pantry data, receipts, lists, and saved recipes are yours. You give us the limited license needed to process them to run the app's features for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Recipe catalog content is drawn from U.S. Department of Agriculture public-domain sources (with per-recipe attribution where a partner contributed it); product data comes from Open Food Facts under the ODbL.
If and when Pantree offers paid tiers, they are billed through your Apple account under Apple's terms, with prices shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in your Apple subscription settings; refunds are handled by Apple.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't promise the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its data (including freshness estimates, dietary screens, extraction results, and deal information) is accurate or complete.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pantree will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
You can stop using Pantree at any time; deleting your account removes your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. If we change these terms materially we'll update this page and note it in the app; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
